    The Ministry of Education and Child Care, along with Dr. Hayley Watson, an adolescent clinical psychologist from Open Parachute, are hosting three free webinars for parents, guardians and caregivers on creating a personalized step-by-step plan for implementing substance use prevention skills in their home. Participants must register in advance for one of the sessions on April 29, May 7, or May 8 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. PDT.

    Students and parents/caregivers interested in exploring careers within the natural resource sector are invited to this trade expo on May 9 from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Timberline Secondary School to connect with local employers and gain insights into some of the skills and knowledge needed for a career in the trades.

    This hands-on event will highlight many of the different trades working in the natural resource sector, feature speakers and provide times for hands-on exploration of different tools and equipment.

    Interested students need to sign up for the event at their school's careers office.

🔴 Honouring Red Dress Day at Robron Centre 🔴 This powerful red dress display at Robron Centre was created by grade 9-12 students in our Elm Alternate School's Vortex class to honour the lives of missing and murdered Indigenous women, girls, and 2S+ individuals. The decorated red hands symbolize the voices silenced by violence and the call to remember, reflect, and take action.
